Quick Recipe
- Heat oil, add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Add a teaspoon each of urad dal and chana dal and roast them till the dals splutter and change colour slightly.
- Add roasted Peanuts and saute them.
- Add curry leaves, turmeric and asafoetida.
- Add the Tamarind rice powder, switch off the flame and mix it well.
- Add the cooked rice to this and mix it all well until the falvours blend in. Your instant Tamarind Rice is ready to serve.
